A server backup takes every disk attached to it, and volumes can be protected on their own. S3 buckets are backed up object by object, every object read whole at one instant.
On immutable service levels, backups are locked until their retention ends. Nobody can delete them early, not even someone who gets into your account.
Backups are read back after they are taken, so you know a restore point works before you need it.
Restore a backup as a new server on the same networks, as new volumes, or over the original. S3 buckets restore into a new bucket, leaving the original untouched.
Data is compressed, and anything unchanged between backups is stored once. You pay for that space, not for the size of your disks.
A disaster recovery plan starts with a copy that is not in the same building. Your backups live in Bucharest, hundreds of kilometres from the Timișoara data center, so a fire, a flood or a power loss there does not take them with it.
An incident that takes out the primary data center does not reach your backups: they are kept in another city, on separate infrastructure.
On immutable service levels, backups cannot be deleted before their retention ends, not even with your credentials, so an attacker cannot wipe out your way back.
You lose at most one backup interval: about a day on the daily level, a week on the weekly one. Before a risky change, take a backup on demand.

Cloudify.ro services are charged per hour within 500 hours in a month, no need for a fixed subscription. For example a VPS that costs 0.1 EUR / hour will cost 4.8 EUR for 2 days of use, but if it is functional all month, will cost 50 EUR (500 * 0.1).
Servers can be resized instantly, including servers in the dedicated CPU category. The upgrade is also subject to hourly payment, without the need to pay a price difference. All calculations are performed at the end of the billing period.
Customers who decide not to use the services in the first 30 days from the creation of the account, are entitled to a full refund of money without giving reasons.
